Maniac Basketball was formed by Coach Doe Williams back in the UK over 20 years ago.
When Coach Doe emigrated to New Zealand in 1998 he brought the company and his philosophy with him. Since then he has been very actively involved with basketball throughout the country.

Maniac Basketball runs a number of training Camps and specialist Camps during the school holidays to teach basketball fundamentals as well as specific skills like shooting, perimeter play and post play.
Coach Doe also coaches school teams, rep teams, and club teams as well as regularly running in-school programmes around the Auckland area.
