Round 1

Uncharacteristic start to the day’s proceedings with close games all around.  Middleton Grange managed a 1 point victory over a Melville side that just wouldn’t go away.

Westlake boys were in a too close for comfort tussle with Hastings.  Had it not been for Thabo Manyere’s mid-range game the result could’ve easily gone in favour of Hastings.

Round 3 match ups

MAGS vs Napier boys

A well balanced MAGS will come at Napier in waves and eventually wear them down

And ultimately wear ‘em out.

Fraser vs Rosmani

This game will be high octane from the tip, both teams are aggressive and like to get up n down.  Lots of physical play there will be NO SOFT FOULS IN THIS BATTLE as neither team will back down.

The bench can turn the shot clock off as these two teams couldn’t tell you what a shot clock sounds like 24 seconds. What?  Just how I like it

St. John’s Hamilton vs St. Peter’s Auckland 

St. Peter’s are a gritty bunch and they’re right there in every game I’m sure a DUB is coming their way but unfortunately I don’t think it will be today.

St. John’s will get the win
