Maniac Basketball - Where Attitude is Everything

Secondary Schools Nationals - Oct 2017 (8)

It's about to go down - quarterfinals

MAGS vs Westlake
Westlake have done well considering their top player James Moors has been sidelined.  Zac Fitzgerald head coach for Westlake has guided this team to some great performances but this might be the end of this years beat downs of MAGS.
MAGS have come up short each time this season in their previous encounters, but Veteran coach D.C. for MAGS will have a game plan to finally get over the hump.  MAGS are 4REAL, this is redemption time.

Rosamini vs Rogotai
Two quick teams that like to run should be an exciting game.  The guard matchup cancels each other out so the difference will be the bigs.  Rosa has the edge here and that’s gonna be the element of separation.  It’ll be close, Rogotai will really push Rosa but I think the Rosa bigs will determine the outcome.

Christ College vs ABG
After last nights upset over the defending champions ABG are now in the drivers seat.  Christ boys came ever so close to pullin off an upset of their own.  Maxwell Darling will constantly get hit by someone his own size as ABG have 3mountalns to negotiate so his effectiveness might be a bit limited in this game.  It will be an entertaining game from a spectators point of view, but that coaches seat will be hot on both sides.
If Max De Geest, Christ’s College top scorer can contribute they will be in a position to the semis.  If not then ABG will advance.

The show down
Rangitoto vs Palmerston
Well, well, well, this was not the expected game time for these two teams.
They were meant to meet on Saturday evening in front of a packed stadium with all the bells & whistles for the "Nationals Rematch"
This game is full of intrigue and brings up a few questions
  1. Can Rangi recover from last nights upset?
  2. Will Palmy come out and play to win after nearly escaping with the win last night?
All will be revealed watch this space
